Featured on Moonlit Mushroom CD

Arrived at home today, wondering what on earth I would do with my fresh and clean WordPress when I saw that something pretty wild had arrived in the mail.

When the Sky Turns Green - The front and back of the album are artworks by band guitarist Mitch Siefert, the mushroom photo was taken by Nolan Friedline and my art was blessed to grace the cd tray and the cd itself! The face graphic on the left panel is a collaborative piece by Mitch Siefert and myself.

My very own copy of When the Sky Turns Green by Minnesota rockers Moonlit Mushroom! This marks the first appearance of my artwork within the context of a produced piece of music, and I couldn’t be more excited.

So far, my favorite track is Vision.  This stuff would sit nicely on the shelf next to The Bends, with synth driven rhythmic soundscapes and bittersweet acoustic/vox tracks.  I’m digging it.

Thanks to Mike Scavio for getting in touch with me and enjoying my artwork, I had a great time with this project!

Playing with the notion that great photos can come from unexpected, hard to get to places and angles, I crawled under an evergreen in my front yard to get this shot.

Hi! Looks like you’ve come to the right place. I am Peter Grossman and this is apparently my blog.  I’m a graphic designer, currently back in school working towards my Bachelor’s degree in studio art. Here I will be showing my artwork and sharing my thoughts, mostly on school, art and graphic design.

I’m still rather unfamiliar with WordPress, and a blogging novice, so this may take some time to pick up speed and get interesting.  I definitely appreciate any feedback or criticism, and look forward to doingsome networking.
